Getting started with a yoga practice is intimidating. We've had some students who said they tried to do it online but it was too hard or even worse, they went somewhere else and felt bad about themselves (ie...too old, too fat, too inflexible....sigh) afterward.
At Yoga Harbor, we started our 6-week beginner series. This class is led by one of our amazing instructors who adapt the practice to meet the students where they are at in their bodies today...not adapting the students to crazy postures. So if you can barely fold forward at your waist much less touch your toes.....we're your people!
During this 6-week beginner yoga series, you will learn the foundations of a yoga class. A wonderful way to start your yoga practice, this will include breathing techniques, intention setting, posture breakdowns, and how to relax at the end of class. Classes will be workshop style allowing you to ask questions and spend time on the fundamentals of postures and transitions between them.
